Ferrets for Adoption
When buying a ferret, great thought should be considered on if they are really a pet for you.
Ferrets are a high maintanence animals, some more so than others. They can also live up to be 10+ years old, so when buying a ferret, you should consider on if you are prepared for a 10 year commitment. There are many things that can go wrong with a ferret such as cancers like Adrenal Disease, Insulinoma, Lymphoma, infections, accidents, so you'd also have to consider on if the potential vet bills are acceptable for you or not.
My ferrets are not sold until they are 12 weeks old (3 months) & are microchipped before leaving (unless otherwise stated). However, if you would like me to reserve you a specific individual, a $50 non-refundable deposit fee is required for reservation.
Each ferret sold must be cared for in the method outlined, are not used for breeding (unless breeding stock has been discussed) & therefore be desexed after 12 months.
I ask for an agreement that in the event the buyer can no longer care for the ferret, they will contact me & arrangements for the ferrets return to me will be made. I will always take back a ferret I have sold.
Kits are $100 each, are microchipped (unless otherwise stated), handled & predominantly litter trained.
Rescue ferrets of 12 months old or older are $150 for males & $200 for females. These ferrets come already desexed & microchipped.
The prices are to cover costs & no more, there is no profit made in what I do. I am more than happy to arrange a payment plans, but until the full price is paid, the ferret will not leave my premises.
IMPORTANT!
Chemical desexing is also an option for my ferrets, using the Suprelorin Implant, which has to be REPEATED every 1-4yrs (or just when your ferret comes into heat/rut). This also benefits as an Adrenal cancer preventative.
I also now offer VASECTOMISED/VASSY/V-HOBS for sale, however they are $250 to cover the surgery & microchipped, which is done BEFORE sale. Great to have if you have multiple jills that you can't afford to immediately desex. Please enquire for details.

GG Conroy
DOB: 31/1/2013
Parents: Roger x Ingrid (see litters page)
Conroy is a Pinknosed Polecat/Sable hob & a very hard headed one at that! He can be a real smoocher, but he is very much a bouncy, rough housing hob who'll need an experienced owner, as he loves to test his limits with new people. He loves his meat & has matured into quite a hefty hob & can be intimidating for new owners, however he is a great cuddle bug & once he has settled, is a real lover.
He is microchipped, is contracted for desexing at 18 months & has been health assessed by my vet.
**BONDED TO BUCKLEY & MUST BE ADOPTED AS A PAIR**
Booked to be desexed 29th of April.

GG Buckley
DOB: 31/1/2013
Parents: Roger x Ingrid (see litters page)
Buckley is a darker version of Conroy, still being a Pinknosed Polecat/Sable but his colouring is darker. He was the sook out of his litter & was initially a very shy kit, however he has grown up a bit now & is ready to take on the world.
Buckley is typically a well mannered, playful boy, however he is also quite a brat & can be a bully towards other ferrets. He's a silly little boy at times, wagging his tail & dooking loudly. He has become a very bold & dominant hob with maturity, so requires a confident owner.
